Tanzania is preparing to list STAMIGOLD on the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), allowing citizens to invest in the mining sector. This follows the sector’s growth, contributing US$ 3.1 billion in exports and TZS 2.1 trillion in tax revenue.
Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) Plc is concerned of the possible adverse effects that companies cross-listed on the bourse are posing on shareholder wealth and the subsequent underperformance of the benchmark stock index.
DURING the trading week ending on September 06th, the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) saw a decrease in turnover compared to the prior week.
