VODACOM Tanzania Plc has registered 4.7 per cent increase in service revenue attributed to a strong performance in the data segment, recovery in M-Pesa usage and double digit growth in revenue from fixed services.
Subscribers with Vodacom’s M-Pesa will now be able to easily send and receive money to eight new countries with the Southern Africa Development Community (Sadc), thanks to the expansion of the mobile money platform’s International Money Transfer (IMT) portfolio.
