Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) approved a request on Tuesday filed by UAE-based investment company Chimera Investments for a non-binding offer to acquire a controlling stake in Egypt-based Beltone Financial Holding.

Informed sources revealed that Banque du Caire postponed the offering of its shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) due to the current market conditions, poor liquidity, and low trading values, as it was scheduled to be listed before the end of this year.

The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices fell at the end of Thursday’s session, with the benchmark EGX30 index losing 0.46%, finishing the session at 10,200.56 points.

The investment banking division of EFG Hermes Holding (HRHO) has completed advisory on Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s (DEWA) $6.1 billion initial public offering (IPO) on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), according to an emailed press release on April 12th.
