The private placement of Macro Group Pharmaceutical’s (Macro Capital) (MCRO) shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has been 1.79x oversubscribed at a price of EGP 4.85 per share, informed sources told Bloomberg Asharq.

Fawry for Banking Technology and Electronic Payment (FWRY) has entered agreements with a number of local banks to enable disbursing real-time remittances of Egyptians abroad via Fawry’s outlets in Egypt, the company’s founder and CEO Ashraf Sabry told Al Mal Newspaper.

Taqa Arabia, a subsidiary of Qalaa Holdings (CCAP), is planning to list its shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in 2023, Al Borsa Newspaper reported, citing the company’s Managing Director Pakinam Kafafi.

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) celebrated Tuesday the company number 217 to its main board, Nahr Al-Khair for Development & Agricultural Investment Company. The company is to be traded under ISIN code KRDI.CA, making the total number of listed companies on EGX to 244.
