An Egyptian subsidiary of UAE-based Abraaj Group requested on Thursday to be listed on the Cairo Stock Exchange with a capital of EGP 80 million ($9 million), the head of the country's bourse, Mohamed Omran, told official news agency MENA.

Egypt's main index EGX30 dipped 0.9 percent on Sunday to 7,480 points, almost erasing last week's gains due to profit taking, according to Wafik Dawood, portfolio manager at Cairo-based Compass Capital.

Egypt will float parts of two state-owned lenders on the Egyptian stock exchange this year and sell a stake in state-owned United Bank of Egypt, the central bank governor Tarek Amer said.

Egyptian Financial Group Hermes (EFG-Hermes), one of Egypt's leading investment banks, posted consolidated net profits of EGP 461 million in 2015, down 14 percent from EGP 538 million in 2014.
