Investor sentiment as measured by market breadth, was positive as 31 stocks advanced against 13 decliners. SEPLAT (+10.00%) led the gainer’s chart for the day, while CONOIL (-10.00%) finished top loser.
Across coverage sectors, performance was mostly positive as all tracked indices closed up for the day; The NSE industrials, insurance, banking and oil & gas advanced by 0.35%, 1.38%, 1.81%, and 5.35% respectively.

NSE Insurance Index: Rose by +1.38%, on price appreciation in MBENEFIT (9.52%), AIICO (+9.26%) and WAPIC (+1.69%).
NSE Industrial Index: Improved by +0.35% % due to the gain in WAPCO (+5.05%).
NSE Consumer Goods Index: Down marginally by -0.03%, due to the price decline in DANGSUGAR (-1.04%) and HONYFLOUR (-0.77%).
