    The Nigerian Stock Exchange (The NSE or The Exchange) is set to launch X-Mobile, a dynamic and user-friendly mobile app, to enhance investors’ participation in the Nigerian capital market. The NSE mobile app which is currently in its Beta state will be launched at the 2019 NSE Market Data Workshop taking place on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.

    The Nigerian Stock Exchange announced the Cross Border Secondary Listing of 3,758,151,504 ordinary shares of Airtel Africa Plc (AIRTELAFRI) on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. The shares were listed at an offer price of N363 per ordinary share on the Main Board of The Exchange and at 80 pence per ordinary share on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, the primary listing exchange. ​The listing of the c​ompany’s shares has added N1.36Tn to the market capitalization of The Exchange, further deepening the Nigerian capital market. It will also increase the visibility of Airtel Africa to investors on the continent and across the globe.

    The telecommunications company Airtel Africa plans to list at least 500 million shares on the Nigeria Stock Exchange. The initial offer will comprise of between 14 per cent and 18.9 per cent of the firm’s shares at a price of between N363 (KSh102) and N454 (KSh128).
