    Stock brokerage firms, AIB Capital and Apex Africa Capital have just revealed that they are in the process of merging their businesses. The two companies have signed a binding agreement that sets the stage for merge negotiations.

    The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has released a list of 7 licensed derivatives markets trading members. The members are; AIB Capital, Faida Investment Bank Limited, Genghis Capital Limited, Kingdom Securities Limited, NCBA Investment Bank Limited, Standard Investment Bank Limited, and Sterling Capital Limited.

    Kenya’s first green bond was listed for trading on the Nairobi Securities Exchange on Monday, offering investors the chance to put money into an environmentally-friendly fixed income security for the first time in the bourse’s 65 year history.

    Derivatives traders are now able to buy and sell Barclays Bank Futures on the Nairobi Derivatives Market (NEXT). Investors will put in a minimum of KSh1,800 as the initial margin in exchange for one Barclays bank Futures Contract.
