The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is preparing to host its second annual conference for investment in the stock market in order to support IPOs and capital increases under the patronage of Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, the Egyptian Prime Minister, where the conference represents an important opportunity for compatibility among the most promising companies that have expansion and growth opportunities and want to get financing, and between the financial institutions and investment banks that have the ability to restructure those companies and to offer them through the Egyptian Exchange.

The African Stock Exchange Association (ASEA) has chosen the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) to host ASEA Executive Committee meetings scheduled to take place Monday, according to a statement.

In a step to raise the Egyptian market efficiency and to increase the disclosure and transparency levels, The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will launch next Thursday the first electronic system for direct disclosure of companies, where the listed companies will be able to post their disclosure reports directly to the trading screens for investors

EGX is coordinating with 3 new companies belonging to the petroleum sector to list on the Egyptian Exchange during the coming period, with a total capital of more than LE 8.5 billion.
