EGX set the trading hours during Ramadan to be from 10:00 am till 01:30 pm for the ordinary trading session, for OTC (Orders Market) trading session on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 am till 12:00 pm and for the Deals Market for the materialized securities & dematerialized securities from 09:30 am till 01:30 pm and from 10:00 am till 11:30 respectively.
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) started to take practical steps towards activating the first index that measures the performance of listed companies of the market for small and medium enterprises, NILEX.
EGX will be reviewing list of stocks meeting criteria for specialized activities twice a year instead of once. This will be at the same timing of the periodic review of the components of the key indicators Egyptian Stock Exchange (January and July of each year).
The volume of covered Shares10% of the capital of "Egypt National Steel - Ataqa" exceeded the offered by 4.5 times.
