EFG Hermes, the leading investment bank in the Arab world, announced today the launch of EFG Hermes Leasing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the firm specializing in providing leasing services to large corporates and SMEs across Egypt. EFG Hermes Leasing will commence operations effective immediately.

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) is preparing to host its second annual conference for investment in the stock market in order to support IPOs and capital increases under the patronage of Eng. The African Stock Exchange Association (ASEA) has chosen the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) to host ASEA Executive Committee meetings scheduled to take place Monday, according to a statement.

In a step to raise the Egyptian market efficiency and to increase the disclosure and transparency levels, The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will launch next Thursday the first electronic system for direct disclosure of companies, where the listed companies will be able to post their disclosure reports directly to the trading screens for investors
