The principal activity of the Company is investment holding of manufacturing assets in Sub Saharan Africa, trading & procurement of pharmaceutical products. The Group is also a manufacturer and distributor of essential pharmaceutical products for human consumption (e.g. antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, pain killers, anti-viral, anti-malaria drugs). It holds manufacturing facilities in Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Tanzania, Botswana, India and distribution companies in various countries. Africure’s objective is to create manufacturing capabilities in Africa and to respond to challenges faced by the African continent with regards to its overdependence on imported pharmaceutical products.
