For the first time since its creation, BRVM ranks first among the top-performing African stock markets in terms of increases in its index of all listed securities (BRVM Composite), finishing 2015 with a 17.77 % increase of its composite index (BRVM Composite).

Bank of Africa Mali, a subsidiary of Mali-based Bank of Africa Group, is making an initial public offering of 400,000 shares as a first step in listing on the regional BRVM — the West Africa Stock Exchange — according to a statement Tuesday.

Senegal started this Friday 30 October, its public offering in order to raise FCFA 50 billion on the UEMOA financial market. "In 2015, after a series of operations in the financial market, the State of Senegal wants to close the year with a fundraising on the BRVM (Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilères)", one reads in the information note on the operation.

Wednesday 30th September 2015. Uniwax S.A., a company specialised in the production and marketing of fabrics and other clothing materials, jumped by 7.9% on the BVRM, with a transaction volume of FCfa 360.3 million for a rotation of 12,415 shares.
